1999-2004 Results for Mouat, Province,
and District. The statistic “A” grades per 100 graduates represents the real number of students that received an A grade in Biology 12. Unlike other statistics, a student name can be assigned to each “A” grade received. For example in 2003-2004 there were 300 graduates and 11.9 % or 36 students graduated from our school with an “A” grade in Biology 12. All of these students have been given an opportunity to study biology at the post secondary level. We are particularly proud of our accomplishments in this area in terms of what we have done for our students. Sometimes, particularly when the participation rate is low, a high average in the subject does not necessarily mean that there are a high number of successful students in that school. The number of A’s per 100 can be calculated by
multiplying the participation rate by percentage of students that received an
“A” in the subject. |
