When writing an assignment or essay, you must indicate your reference sources.
These can be done:
as a list of references at the end of your work
as a bibliography indicating all the resources used in your research
These references must be cited using a consistent format.
Follow the Style Manual for print sources, copies of which can be found in the library.
Furberg, John and Hopkins, Richard. College Style Sheet. British Columbia: 49th Avenue Press, 1996.
Some questions you may ask:
- How do I cite print resources in a bibliography?
- How do I cite online resources in a bibliography?
- How do I cite multimedia resources in a bibliography?
- How do I cite sources within my essay?
- How can I find out more about referencing and writing bibliographies?
